SpoiltCats Cattery – Social Distancing Policy

As a small family business, maintaining a good rapport with all of our customers is essential to us and as we proceed over the next few months with the expected lifting of lockdown measures, the safety of both our customers and staff will be paramount.  To ensure that we can adhere to social distancing guidelines and maintain our high hygiene standards, we are implementing new procedures for all bookings.

Please read the following points carefully as some elements of your visit to SpoiltCats may change from what you expect.  If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

  1. Payments

Payment for each booking will be needed in full at least 2 days prior to arrival.  Payment can be made by card over the phone using our secure payment system.  A receipt for your payment will be sent to you via email and will act as your booking confirmation.

At this stage we will confirm a drop-off and collection time and any food/medical requirements your cat(s)may have.

  1. Drop-Off / Collection

On arrival please ring the bell on the side gate entrance to the left of the house.  We will collect your cat from you here and take it ourselves to the cattery pens.  This is to minimise the number of people accessing the cattery building.  Upon collection, we will bring your cat to you here at the gate.

Please ensure that you keep to the agreed drop-off and collection times.  This will help us to ensure that there is no overlapping of customer contact at the gate. 

If you are delayed for any reason, please call us to make us aware.

  1. Bedding & Blankets

We ask that all cats use our cat beds. Please do not bring your beds from home.  Small blankets, towels, cloths that fit inside the cat carrier box are permissible. We will provide ample bedding for all cats.

  1. Photo Updates

We will still continue to provide the high standards of care and communication for all of our customers.  If you use Whatsapp we will send you regular updates and photographs of your cat so that you know they are settling in and enjoying their stay.

  1. Food

Where possible we will provide all food and treats.  If your cat has a specific dietary requirement, please update us at the time of booking.

 

 

All of our other standard procedures, cleaning and care measures remain in place.  Thank you for your consideration of these changes while we work to adapt to new guidelines and requirements.
